The first poster of Irrfan Khan’s forthcoming film Qarib Qarib Singlle has been unveiled by the makers of the film today. However, it does not reveal much about the 50-year-old actor’s character from the movie. The half poster of Qarib Qarib Singlle is building up the suspense for the audience. Irrfan is seen holding a suitcase and standing on the bank of a river. The backdrop of the poster features a temple and mountains. “Follow yogi’s safarnama,” reads the search tab on the poster. Irrfan Khan shared the poster of his upcoming film on social media with a caption that read, “Yogi’s journey has Qarib Qarib begun…. Stay Tuned !”

Qarib Qarib Singlle will mark Malayalam actress Parvathy’s Bollywood debut.

In a statement, director Tanuja Chandra, who has previously helmed films like Sangharsh and Dushman, said that ‘ Qarib Qarib Singlle is a contemporary love story,’ reported news agency IANS.

“Qarib Qarib Singlle is a contemporary love story of two people who embark upon an unusual journey which becomes a mad adventure. I’ve made plenty of violent thrillers – now on to something that’s slice of life and fun,” IANS quoted Tanuja Chnadra as saying.
Qarib Qarib Singlle has been extensively shot in Bikaner, Rishikesh and Gangtok.

Qarib Qarib Singlle is scheduled to release in theatres on November 10.

Irrfan Khan last featured in Hindi Medium, co-starring Saba Qamar. His other upcoming projects are – Bangladeshi film Doob: No Bed Of Roses, The Song Of Scorpions and Karwaan.
