Uttar Pradesh, October 11, 2023 – Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) is delighted to announce that Dr. Mrinmoy Kumar Chini, a distinguished member of the Faculty of Engineering, has been honored with the esteemed DST-SERB Fellowship for International Research Experience. This prestigious recognition underscores Dr. Chini’s remarkable innovation and profound scientific expertise.

Dr. Chini’s groundbreaking research project will be carried out at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, USA. His selection for this fellowship highlights his extraordinary commitment to advancing the frontiers of scientific exploration and knowledge.

Key Details of the fellowship project:

It is a 6 month independent research program that focuses on the Development and Investigation of Blue Light Emitting Field-Effect Transistors (LEFETs) for Multidisciplinary Applications. The main motive is the realization of bright and color-stable blue light emitting field-effect transistors (LEFETs) and in-depth understanding of device and light emitting mechanisms.

Project Highlights:

Improving brightness with enhanced quantum yield and color stability.

Focusing on blue light emission and phase purity of targeted materials.

Investigating the mechanism in rarely explored LEFETs.

Aiding in comprehending how LEFETs work and the development of more efficient blue-colored LEDs and rarely investigated Light Emitting Transistors.

This outstanding achievement is a testament to the culture of excellence and academic prowess that TMU cultivates in its faculty members. It reaffirms our steadfast dedication to fostering an exceptional academic community that nurtures cutting-edge research and intellectual growth.

We extend our wholehearted congratulations to Dr. Mrinmoy Kumar Chini for this well-deserved recognition. We eagerly anticipate the valuable contributions he will undoubtedly bring to the field of research during his fellowship and upon his return to TMU University.
