An accident occurred at an ethanol plant under construction in Badiasichar, Sipajhar, resulting in the death of a worker, Chariful Islam. Two other workers, Osman Gani and Nizam Uddin, sustained serious injuries and were immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The incident happened in the absence of company officials at the construction site. Following the tragedy, angry workers gathered at the company premises to protest, voicing their frustration over alleged exploitation and mistreatment by the authorities. The protesters demanded financial compensation for the families of the deceased and the injured workers.
