INTRODUCTION:-
The staff of PS Greater Kailash, South District has apprehended a proclaimed offender namely Bittu Kumar.
BRIEFING OF THE STAFF:-
The staff of South District was specifically tasked to nab the POs, hence, the teams were working on proclaimed offenders who were evading their presence before Hon’ble court of law. Accordingly, the staff initiated sincere efforts by sensitizing local informers and collecting human intelligence.
INFORMATION & OPERATION:-
A team comprising HC Mahaveer & ors. led by SHO/G.K. under supervision of ACP/C.R. Park was working to develop important clues about Proclaimed Offenders. The efforts of the team bore fruits when a credible piece of information was received regarding presence of a Proclaimed Offender. The information was further developed and more details about the POs were collected. As per input, the team laid a trap and on pointing out of the informer, a person was apprehended. Later on, he was identified as Bittu Kumar, proclaimed offender. He was produced before the concerned Hon’ble Court.
PROFILE OF THE PO APPREHENDED:-
Bittu Kumar S/o Chandrashekhar R/o Jaitpur, New Delhi. Age 27 years.
PROCLAMATION:-
He was absconding & declared Proclaimed Offender vide order dated 01/07/2024 by the Hon’ble Saket Court in connection with case FIR No.604/2020, U/S 160 IPC, PS -Jaitpur, South East Dist. New Delhi.
The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.
