North Lakhimpur: 3rd December: In a major success against the illicit trade of fake gold artefacts, Lakhimpur Police today recovered seventeen items from Bangalmora.
Acting on tip-off police raided the house of one Abdul Aziz in Daulatpur under Bangalmora Police Outpost today afternoon and recovered sixteen “ boats” and one “crucifix”—the typical fake gold artefacts that have been associated with the infamous illicit trade of the area. Police has arrested Abdul Aziz for his involvement in the illicit trade of fake gold.
