WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN THREE PAIRS OF FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS TO VARIOUS DESTINATION

Mumbai, 10th September, 2025

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand during the festive season of Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja, Western Railway will run Festival Special Trains on Special fare between Mumbai Central – Banaras, Vadodara – Gorakhpur and Okha – Shakur Basti.
According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the details of these trains are as under:
1. Train No. 09083/09084 Mumbai Central – Banaras AC Special (Weekly) [16 Trips]
Train No. 09083 Mumbai Central – Banaras Special will depart from Mumbai Central every Wednesday at 23:10 hrs and will reach Banaras at 10:30 hrs, on Friday. This train will run from 17th September to 05th November, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09084 Banaras – Mumbai Central Special will depart from Banaras every Friday at 14:30 hrs and will arrive Mumbai Central at 04:20 hrs, on Sunday. This train will run from 19th September to 07th November 2025.
Enroute, this train will halt at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Idgah Agra, Tundla, Shikohabad, Mainpuri, Bhongaon, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh, Janghai and Bhadohi stations in both directions.
This train comprises of First AC, AC – 2 Tier, AC -3 Tier and AC – 3 Tier (Economy) Coaches.
2. Train No. 09111/09112 Vadodara – Gorakhpur Special (Weekly) [20 Trips]
Train No. 09111 Vadodara – Gorakhpur Special will depart from Vadodara every Saturday at 19:00 hrs and will reach Gorakhpur at 23.30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 27th September to 29th November, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09112 Gorakhpur – Vadodara Special will depart from Gorakhpur every Monday at 05:00 hrs and will reach Vadodara at 08:00 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 29th September to 01st December, 2025.
Enroute this train will halt at Godhra, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Idgah Agra, Tundla, Shikohabad, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Kanpur, Manak Nagar, Badshah Nagar, Bara Banki, Gonda and Basti stations in both directions.
This train comprises of First AC, AC – 2 Tier, AC – 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
3. Train No. 09523/09524 Okha – Shakur Basti Special (Weekly) [20 Trips]
Train No. 09523 Okha – Shakur Basti Special will depart from Okha every Tuesday at 10:00 hrs and will reach Shakur Basti at 10:35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 23rd September to 25th November, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09524 Shakur Basti – Okha Special will depart from Shakur Basti every Wednesday at 13:15 hrs and will reach Okha at 13:50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 24th September to 26th November 2025.
Enroute, this train will halt at Dwarka, Khambhaliya, Jamnagar, Hapa, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Mahesana, Unjha, Siddhpur, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Alwar, Gurgoan and Delhi Cantt stations in both directions.
This train comprises of AC – 2 Tier, AC -3 Tier, AC – 3 Tier (Economy), Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
