Patna,28 Dec:Dr. Raquib Alam, Assistant Professor, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi submitted a memorandum to Hon’ble Health Minister, Government of Bihar to gain good health and wellbeing targets of sustainable development goals across the state. The memorandum states that establishment of a medical college at Kishanganj is needed to provide better medical facilities to Kishanganj district and it’s adjoining districts Araria, Purnea and Katihar. There is an urgent need to develop Anganwadi across the state because over 85% child’s brain development occurs prior to age of 6 years, demonstrating the critical importance of proper care and stimulation of the brain in the early years. There is a need of an hour to promote awareness for good health and wellbeing targets of sustainable development goals to the students and people across the state. Mass level awareness program for deaddiction and mental health is needed. It is very important to widespread value based and skill-based education across the state to gain the critical targets of sustainable development goals. We need to initiate a national education campaign “Prepare yourself for a human of values and skills to transform India.” Hon’ble Anzar Nayeemi, MLA, Bahadurganj, is highly enthusiastic to promote good health and wellbeing targets of sustainable development goals in his constituency.
