Actress Kangana Ranaut to Honor Winners on Modi’s Birthday
New Delhi, September 12, 2024: PM Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday celebration will be marked by the All India Essay Writing Competition award ceremony where actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut will honor the winners of the competition organized by the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS).
The results of the All India Essay Writing Competition organized by the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS), have been announced, with Asmita M. Rahatgaonkar from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur securing the first position. The competition, centered on the theme “How Prime Minister Narendra Modi Strengthened India’s Global Relations”, received overwhelming participation from across the country.
Renowned actress, filmmaker, and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Kangana Ranaut will honour the top three winners of this Competition at the prestigious CNMS Conclave. The award ceremony will take place on September 17, 2024 at the India International Centre, New Delhi, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday celebrations.
The top three winners of the All India Essay Writing Competition are Asmita M. Rahatgaonkar from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, who secured the first position, followed by Satnam Sing from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh who secured second position, and Tushita Bhandari from the University of Delhi, who secure third position.
Professor Jasim Mohammad, Chairman of CNMS, expressed his joy at the level of participation, saying, “The overwhelming response from all states shows the enthusiasm of young India to understand and engage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s global initiatives. It was our goal to spark curiosity among the youth on how Bharat has positioned itself as a major player on the world stage under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership.”
“Despite studying Science subjects, students from IIT Kharagpur have showcased a remarkable ability to write in-depth on topics like India’s global relations under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. This is a great example of how young minds, regardless of their academic focus, are engaging with important socio-political issues and contributing thoughtful perspectives to the national dialogue.” He said.
Prof Jasim Mohammad further explained the purpose behind organizing the competition, “We organized this essay competition with the aim to inspire the youth to delve deep into the policies and leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, especially in terms of his efforts to bolster India’s global relationships. Through this competition, we sought to cultivate an understanding of how India has emerged as a global leader under his vision, and how young minds can learn from this remarkable journey.”
