Mumbai, 24th June, 2025
In view of the ongoing Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) works at Ahmedabad station, it has been decided to temporarily shift the terminal of certain trains from Ahmedabad to Maninagar, Vatva, and Asarva stations on temporary basis for period of 70 days from 05th July to 12th September, 2025. Additionally, the halt at Ahmedabad will be temporarily withdrawn, with alternate halts being provided at Sabarmati Junction and Sabarmati BG stations .
According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the details of these trains are as under:
Trains Originating from Maningar station:
1. Train No. 12932 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Double Decker Express journey commencing from 07th July, 2025 will originate from Maninagar station at 05.50 hrs.
2. Train No. 19034 Ahmedabad – Valsad Express journey commencing from 05th July, 2025 will originate from Maningar station at 18.20 hrs.
Trains Originating/Terminating from Asarva station:
1. Train No. 12655 Ahmedabad – Chennai Central Navjeevan Express journey commencing from 05th July, 2025 will originate from Asarva station at 21.05 hrs.
2. Train No. 12656 Chennai Central – Ahmedabad Navjeevan Express journey commencing from 04th July, 2025 will terminate at Asarva station at 18.20 hrs.
Trains Short Terminating at Vatva station:
1. Train No. 22953 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Gujarat Superfast Express journey commencing from 05th July, 2025 will terminate at Vatva at 14.20 hrs.
2. Train No. 12931 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Double Decker Express journey commencing from 05th July, 2025 will terminate at Vatva at 21.20 hrs.
Trains with Withdrawn Halt at Ahmedabad by Providing Halt at Sabarmati Junction:
1. Train No. 19016 Porbandar – Dadar Saurashtra Express journey commencing from 05th July, 2025 will halt at Sabarmati Junction (Arr/Dep. 06.48 hrs /06.58 hrs)
