• TWO ACCUSED PERSONS INCLUDING A JUVENILE, HAVING LOADED COUNTRY-MADE PISTOL, ROAMING ON A STOLEN SCOOTY, IN SEARCH OF THEIR RIVALS TO SHOOT THEM, NABBED BEFORE THEIR PLANNING, BY THE TEAM OF PP INDERLOK, PS SARAI ROHILLA, DELHI.
• COMMUNITY SAFETY ENSURED BY TAKING INSTANT ACTION, BY THE TEAM OF PP INDERLOK, PS SARAI ROHILLA.
• ONE LOADED COUNTRY-MADE PISTOL, (DESI KATTA) AND TWO MORE LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERD FROM THE POSSESSION OF ACCUSED PERSONS.
• ONE SCOOTY, MAKE HONDA ACTIVA, STOLEN BY THE ACCUSED PERSONS FROM THE AREA OF PS RAJPARK, BEING USED BY THEM ALSO RECOVERED AND SEIZED IN POLICE POSSESSION.
• THEY HAD PURCHASED THE COUTRY-MADE PISTOL & 03 LIVE CARTRIDGES FOR RS. 4,500/- FROM AN UNKNOWN PERSON, WHO MET THEM IN THE AREA OF MEERUT, U.P. WHILE ON KANWAR YATRA FOR USING THE SAME TO KILL THEIR RIVALS.
BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENT:
On 21.09.2024, a secret information was received to SI Devender Antil (In-charge PP Inderlok) that two persons riding on a Scooty carrying illegal weapon would come to commit double murder at Daya Basti Railway Quarters. Immediately, it was shared with the senior officers, who directed to constitute a raiding party and laid trap near place of information.
TEAM & OPERATION:
Keeping the gravity of secret information, a dedicated police team, led by SI Devender Antil (In-charge PP Inderlok), comprising ASI Ravinder, HC Pankaj, HC Satyender, HC Naved and Ct Manroop was constituted, under the close supervision of Inspr. Vikas Rana, SHO/PS Sarai Rohilla and guidance of Shri Jitendra Patel, ACP/Sub-Division, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.
The team along-with secret informer departed for place of information i.e. Daya Basti Railway Quarters, wherein a trap was laid. Thereafter, on the instance of secret informer, two persons riding on a Scooty were signaled to stop, but they immediately took U-turn and tried to run away. However, the valorous and alert team instantly sprang into the action and they succeeded apprehending both of them along-with the Scooty. Upon enquiry, they could not give any satisfactory reply about their presence. The front number plate of the Scooty being ridden by them, was folded and on checking, it was found as stolen from the area of PS Rajpark, Delhi.
In order to avoid any untoward incident, cursory search of both apprehended persons was conducted by the team. Consequently, one loaded Country-made Pistol (Desi Katta) was recovered from the possession of pillion rider, who was identified as Sunny Austin, age 25 years and two live cartridges were recovered from the rider, who was as a Juvenile, “A” age 17 years. The recovered Scooty, make Honda Activa, bearing registration number DL11SP619-VI, was found as stolen vide E-FIR No. 020010/24 dated 10.07.2024 u/s 305 (B) BNS, PS Rajpark, Delhi, which was seized in police possession through a seizure memo and deposited in PS Malkhana.
Subsequently, as regards the recovery of Country-Made Pistol and 03 Live Cartridges, a case vide FIR No. 511/24 dated 21.09.2024 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Sarai Rohilla and further investigation has been taken up.
INTERROGATION & VERSION OF APPREHENDED PERSONS:
During the course of interrogation and enquiry from the apprehended accused persons, they disclosed that they have rivalry with one Parveen and Satte, who reside in Daya Basti Jhuggi area. They wanted to take revenge from them and this time they have decided to kill both of them, as they were looking for the opportunity for several days, but could not succeed.
Further, on sustained interrogation, it revealed that during the Month of June-2024, Parveen, along-with his other associates including Satte had beaten the Juvenile, A, in Machchi Market, Inderlok, Delhi and insulted him much & more among the public. So, they both hatched conspiracy to teach lesson to the Parveen and Satte. For this purpose, they had stolen a Scooty, from the area of Shani Bazar Road, Sultanpuri, Delhi, on 08.07.2024 during night hours. Subsequently, they purchased one Country made Pistol along-with 03 live cartridges from an unknown person, who met them in the area of Meerut, U.P. during Kanwar Yatra. Today (21.09.2024), they both came with the planning to shoot out upon both of them, but they were nabbed by the alert police team along-with the loaded Country-Made Pistol and two more live cartridges.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:
1. Sunny Austin, r/o E-Block, Shastri Nagar, Delhi, age 25 years. (His previous criminal antecedents are being verified).
2. CCL, “A”, age 17 years.
RECOVERY:
1. One Country Made Pistol (Desi Katta).
2. Three Live Cartridges.
3. One Scooty, make Honda Activa, stolen from the area of PS Rajpark, Delhi.
SHO/PS Rajpark, Delhi has been informed about the arrest and apprehension of both accused persons and recovery of stolen Scooty for taking further necessary legal action into the matter.
