MUMBAI CENTRAL DIVISION HOSTS AMRIT SAMVAAD CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT AT BANDRA TERMINUS

Western Railway’s Mumbai Central Division organized an “Amrit Samvaad” programme at Bandra Terminus Concourse on 23rd October, 2025, under the ongoing Special Campaign 5.0 initiative. Guided by the visionary concept of Amrit Kaal and the five pledges of Panch Pran as articulated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the programme aimed to foster active citizen participation and gather constructive feedback to further enhance service quality, passenger amenities, and overall satisfaction. The session was led by Shri Pankaj Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Central Division.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, DRM Shri Singh personally interacted with hundreds of passengers during the session. He patiently listened to their queries and valuable suggestions, fostering an open dialogue on key issues concerning passenger convenience.

Commuters shared insightful feedback, particularly regarding the enhancement of passenger amenities and the introduction of additional train services during the festive season. Shri Singh assured participants that Indian Railways’ remains steadfast in its commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and a superior travel experience.

The Amrit Samvaad initiative exemplifies Western Railway’s dedication to public engagement, service transformation, and transparency, in alignment with the national vision of building a Developed India by 2047.
